RSS Feeds

I have arrived home after a week away on Daydream Island in the Whitsundays. It was unreal and I would love to go back but unfortunately it is very expensive.

While I was away I missed out on all the latest news. Fortunately I had signed up to some RSS feeds and I could quickly catch up on the top stories of the week.

This allowed me to see how very little happens in a news week and how the same stories keep getting repeated. "no news is good news".

Well life goes on and I have learned a little more. While I was playing around with Flickr I decided to search for my name to see what came up. I didn't find any photos of myself but I did find another Ben Gorman. He has about 100 modelling shots of him and his jock friends. I wonder if his mum put them online to try and find him a wife?

Blogging Jokes, the way of the future

Well, the blogging jokes have well and truly taken off. Thanks 23 things! And just when I thought fart jokes were the lowest form of humour.

I'm enjoying learning more about these new fandangled things called computers. I only just learned how to put the kettle on. It makes me feel like I am doing something productive, sitting here looking up blogs and flikr and such. When really I should be working on my assignment. This way I can procastinate and still feel good about it. I think some other people feel the same way. Shelve books or 23 things they ask themselves. Hehe, only joking.
